First partner meeting in Poland: DIY, exchange and lots of time outdoors
For the first time, all six partner organisations from Poland, Italy, Spain, Cyprus and Germany came together in person in Poland. The host, Centrum Medyczno-Terapeutyczne Magdalena Kotowicz-Kilian, offered a very warm and almost family-like atmosphere, along with a beautiful outdoor space that set the tone for the meeting.
True to the spirit of “Tinker, explore, grow together – as a family!”, the focus was on working together on the project idea, planning the next steps of the methodology and preparing the national research phase. Work didn’t only happen inside the meeting room – the group often moved outside to continue discussions, collaborate, or simply exchange ideas in a more informal setting. A very special companion was also part of the experience throughout: the host’s dog Stefan, who quickly became part of the group and added to the relaxed atmosphere.
In the coming months, practical materials and ideas will be developed based on the research results to support families in everyday life – from hands-on DIY and repair activities to creative use of everyday materials and meaningful digital learning. The meeting was a successful first face-to-face exchange and showed how well the cooperation is already working.
